Thick fog failed to deter over 130 delegates from attending Roythornes Solicitors mock Employment Tribunal, which was held on Thursday 13^th march.

An audience from as far afield as Norfolk and  Cambridge attended the event, which was held at Springfields events centre, Spalding.

Members of the Roythornes team took the parts of the dismissed employee, company director and HR Manager, as well as the solicitors representing them and tribunal Judge.

Once the hearing had taken place the delegates were asked to discuss amongst themselves what they thought the decision should be before partner Peter Bennett,  taking the part of the Judge, announced his decision.

Speaking about the event Marketing Manager Mark Dodds said:

“We were delighted with the way it went.  Some of the people had travelled for two hours in difficult conditions to get there and from the feedback we received they certainly thought it worth the effort.

I’m not sure our actors will be on the short list for next year’s Oscars, but they did brilliantly and we’re already considering developing their acting skills for the next event!”
