A local youth football team will be running on to the pitch in style now their kit is being sponsored by Peterborough based housing association, Cross Keys Homes (CKH)

The sponsorship of the home and away strips for Netherton United FC’s under 12s boys team is part of the housing association’s commitment to inspiring the next generation and improving health and wellbeing across the city.

CKH’s Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “we are very proud to sponsor the under 12s team at Netherton United FC. Clubs like this are so important to young people, teaching them life skills, fitness and commitment. Our support highlights a key strand of our Community Investment strategy – inspiring the next generation. We are committed to creating opportunities that changes lives for young and not so young alike, and this is a great opportunity to do this in an area where a lot of our residents live.”

Darren Lawrence, manager of the under 12s team, said: “We are really grateful to Cross Keys Homes for their sponsorship. Support like this is invaluable to a team like ours. It really helps the team to have a great kit, giving them more pride in the team.”
