Can you afford a £30,000 mistake?

The latest statistics from the Employment Tribunals Service show that the average award for an Age Discrimination case rose by an incredible £20,000 last year to £30,289.

Age Discrimination claims are now the third most common at Tribunals and the trend is moving upwards. These figures show how expensive a mistake could be and all employers should be aware of their obligations and how their policies and procedures may need to be amended to ensure they do not discriminate.

Roythornes Solicitors are holding a free breakfast seminar covering Age Discrimination and pension reform on 29th September in Peterborough.
