THE East of England Arena and Events Centre welcomed around 50 business and media contacts to tuck into a visual and mouthwatering tasting menu at a recent networking event.

Presented by Amadeus Food – the venue’s catering partners – guests enjoyed an afternoon of sampling delicious, freshly prepared and eye-catching taster dishes served up by the award-winner company’s team of expert chefs and staff.

Ranging from salads and dips on a cold tasting table, to traditional and inspirational hot food bowls and ending with exquisite desserts – guests were given the chance to see what Amadeus and the venue have to offer organisers of local and regional seminars, workshops and networking events.

The afternoon also involved some fun team building giant games and activities, organised by Gable Events.

Annie Monnox, general manager for the East of England Arena’s Catering Team for Amadeus said: “This event provided a fantastic platform for us to show case just what Amadeus can offer in terms of creativity and versatility to any business or company organising an event for staff or other delegate at the East of England Arena and Events Centre.

“Through the £4.5 million partnership we have with the venue, our aim is to provide guests and visitors with an exceptional experience when it comes to food and service – whether it be a breakfast business meeting, casual lunch or a more formal corporate occasion.

“In addition, Amadeus can also offer a fine dining experience and the numbers of inquiries in this particular area are growing.”

Early this summer, the East of England Arena and Events Centre officially unveiled its newly-refurnished facilities to event organisers from around the country to showcase its offering as a ‘gateway to doing business in the East’.

An audience of event organisers and industry influencers attended the special open day, which gave visitors the chance to see just what the venue has to offer in terms of space, flexibility, and location.
