As part of this we are the only law firm in Peterborough supporting the Forest for Peterborough, planting a tree for every probate client served. We are also particularly proud of our involvement in the local community. We were a founding member of Peterborough Pro Help Group and undertake many and varied pro bono roles with GPP, Opportunity Peterborough, NSPCC and Barnardo’s, amongst others.
The key focus for the firm is to ensure we are providing a great experience for our clients and making Buckles a great place to work. This involves constantly reviewing our client care strategy and a whole host of employee-focused initiatives, including our onsite staff gym. The investment in our staff was recognised this year by Best Companies, the name behind The Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work For’ list, when were we were listed as “One to Watch”. The survey assesses an organisation’s performance in all areas of the workplace, in particular its commitment to its employees.
We know our client’s needs are changing, so we open on Saturdays and late on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We also invest heavily in technology to help us provide a better service through increase accessibility and ease of use.
