TWO Partners from leading local law firm Buckles Solicitors LLP were delighted to attend an evening reception with Samantha Cameron at 10 Downing Street.
The special event was held to celebrate ten years of The One Foundation, a charity that has raised over £10 million to help fund water projects in Africa.
Buckles Solicitors has enjoyed a long working partnership with Duncan Goose, founder of the charity, providing legal advice and support since it’s inception in 2004.
Nigel Moore and James Maxey represented Buckles at the reception alongside other commercial trading partners including The Co-Operative, Tesco and Waitrose. Samantha Cameron spent time speaking with those present, praising each individual for their contribution to the cause.
Over the years, the Peterborough law firm has been instrumental in getting the One Water brand into World Duty Free shops and on board Virgin airline flights.
“We were absolutely thrilled to be invited to honour One’s great achievements,” said Nigel. “Having worked with Duncan from the very beginning, we feel incredibly proud to share in the continued success of the social enterprise and all the lives around the world that it has helped,” he added.
