Book now for the Peterborough Skills Summit

The Peterborough Skills Summit will be returning for a third year on Thursday 6th December. This free event, sponsored by City College Peterborough, will be hosted at The Marriott Hotel from 9am – 10am. With only a day to go, this is the last chance to reserve your place.

A record number of businesses took part in the 2012 Peterborough Skills Survey and the highly anticipated results, along with the Kindle competition winner, will be presented at the event. Delegates will learn about Peterborough’s current skills levels, and any future gaps, and what training and experience city businesses require.

Following the line-up of guest speakers, there will be an opportunity to network over coffee and mince pies. There will also be a selection of exhibitors providing more information. Attendees include local businesses, city decision-makers, education providers and members of the Peterborough Skills Service.

Neil Darwin, chief executive of Opportunity Peterborough, said: “It is great to see so much support from across the business community for skills development in Peterborough. By working together we can build the local skill base, get more people into work and help businesses to grow, ultimately strengthening the economy.”

The Skills Summit will take place immediately after the Opportunity Peterborough Bondholder networking breakfast and delegates are welcome to attend both events.

Places must be reserved in advance. Please book online now
