Book now for Business Focus 2012

Fast-moving companies, organisations and traders can put themselves in front of an audience expected to reach record levels at Business Focus 2012, the region’s premier business-to-business exhibition.

The annual showcase – now in its 12th year – takes place in Peterborough Arena at the East of England Showground on Wednesday 17 October.

The 9am to 5pm event is ready to attract around 1,000 visitors wanting to discover more about the products and services available in this region – with demos of the latest gadgets, an amazing eco property being constructed inside the main exhibition hall, talks to inspire new avenues of growth, plus the chance to discover fun team-building activities.

Business Focus celebrates the region’s success as the Business Environment Capital of the UK and this year has new and returning sponsors: The Peterborough Telegraph, Larkfleet Group, Peterborough City Council, Peterborough Regional College and Peterborough Arena.

Visitor attractions include Larkfleet Group’s Eco House showhome, Peterborough’s own ‘Secret Millionaire’ Mike Greene giving an inspirational presentation about his high-flying retail career, plus a series of 15-minute presentations bringing to life new gadgets and products to revolutionise regional trade and industry.

This year, Business Focus organisers the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and The Business Club are also launching ‘Foods of the World’ – cultural cuisine representing the many different tastes of the region to keep exhibitors and visitors refuelled throughout the day.

Throughout the day, members of influential professional groups and organisations will be attending, meeting exhibitors and talking about the business developments shaping East Anglia and the East Midlands. Their seminars will provide networking opportunities and industry insights, including Opportunity Peterborough’s Bondholders’ Breakfast, a social media update from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, plus presentations by the Chartered Management Institute, the Chartered Institute of Builders and the Chartered Institute of Professional Development.

Barrie Richards, director of Peterborough-based logistics firm APC Overnight is a regular exhibitor and has booked his place at the 2012 event. He said: “We like to exhibit at Business Focus every year, and the event gets bigger and more vibrant each time. It’s an opportunity for us to speak directly with a huge number of potential new clients during the day, as well finding out about the products and services that might help APC Overnight to make long-term savings and grow as a business.

“On top of these great benefits, it’s also an excellent, fun and inspirational day.”

Entry for visitors to Business Focus is free on the day. Exhibitor stands start from £275 plus VAT and are available on a first come, first served basis. For further information or to make a booking, visit www.businessfocus.uk.net or call Business Focus on 01733 370809 or 513002.
