Local company, Baker Perkins showcased their latest generation of food machinery to over 160,000 investors at the Interpack exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany last month.

The company exhibited a range of automatic, high-output production machinery for confectionery, biscuits, snacks and breakfast cereals – and customers reacted enthusiastically to the latest ideas.

Marketing manager Keith Graham said:  “We introduced new machinery that sets higher standards of hygienic operation and simplicity of use and maintenance than our competitors and this gives us a clear differentiation in the market.   We also focus on innovative ideas for products that customers can exploit profitably, and a display of these aroused great interest.
He added: “It was clear that food producers throughout the world have confidence in investing in new equipment, and we are busy dealing with the hundreds of enquiries we logged at the exhibition”
