Settlement agreements and new changes to the tribunal process are top of the agenda at this year’s employment law seminar, hosted by Anne Corder Recruitment (ACR) and Hegarty LLP Solicitors.
The annual event, aimed at the city’s leading HR professionals, focuses on new legislation and its likely impact on businesses in the Greater Peterborough area.
Regular speaker Tim Thompson, Partner at Hegarty Solicitors, will be looking at the various options available for resolving employment disputes, and the benefits and disadvantages of each to employers.
Fellow Partner and Head of the Employment Law department Martin Bloom will be talking about the significant changes being introduced to the tribunal process this year.
Concluding the presentations will be solicitor Emma Carter who will be looking at examples of recent case law.
“It is vital that HR professionals keep up to date with new legislation. Our seminars look at the most important issues and help translate them into real life scenarios,” said Anne Corder. “We are delighted to be working with the experts at Hegarty’s to provide that kind of help to businesses in the area once more.”
The seminar is taking place at Peterborough Arena on Tuesday, September 26th. Attendance is free and includes breakfast but places are limited and RSVP’s must be received by Monday 9th September.
Both @ACRPeterborough and @HegartyLLP will be tweeting updates before and during the event using #ACRseminar2013
