Anne Corder Recruitment welcomed as Institute ‘employer of choice’

Leading independent agency Anne Corder Recruitment has been chosen to be an Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) Advocate.

Following the exam success of recruitment consultant Joanne Copeland, who received a merit in the Certificate of Recruitment Practice, the Lynch Wood based agency now has six team members who have been approved for entry to the Institute.

The IRP Advocacy programme recognises those companies and agencies from across the country who invest in their people and staff through industry standard professional development.

Anne said: “The team and I are delighted to have been accepted as Advocates of the IRP. It serves as an important reminder to our clients, candidates and other business associates of our credibility within the sector and our desire to deploy best practice at all times.

“From a personal perspective, it is rewarding to have the hard work and commitment to the ongoing development of our staff highlighted by such a respected body as the IRP,” she added.

This is the second accolade the IRP has awarded the agency within the last 18 months. In July 2012, Anne Corder, Karen Dykes and Nel Woolcott were accepted as Fellows of the IRP, making them three of few nationally acknowledged recruitment experts in the Greater Peterborough area.

The majority of the management team’s experience has been gained while working at Anne Corder Recruitment, opened as an independent agency 19 years ago from offices in Park Road.

The company then moved to brand new offices at Lynch Wood in June this year as part of ongoing growth plans.
