Anne Corder Recruitment launches annual charity Bake Off

Staff from Peterborough’s independent city agency Anne Corder Recruitment are set to cook up a storm, in aid of Children In Need.

The team will be whisking, stirring, sieving and boiling up their favourite recipes in time for next Friday. The results will be shared around the Park Road office, and with visitors, in return for a donation to the charity.

And each dish – sweet or savoury – will be secretly scored, with the winner declared once all the plates are empty.

Last year’s winner was Anne Corder who admitted to setting her alarm early for the morning of the contest to whisk up a plate of ‘still warm from the oven’ brownies.

“Last year’s entries were fantastic, from brownies to muffins, quiches to dips,” said Anne. “We have a few new members of the team so we’re very much looking forward to sampling their Bake Off entries!”

All money raised will be given to Children In Need, the annual BBC appeal which raises millions to support work with children in the UK.
