ACR unveils new offices to the city’s business community

ONE of the city’s leading independent recruitment agencies unveiled its new offices with a reception for clients and guests on Tuesday July 16 evening.

Anne Corder Recruitment recently moved into new premises at 25 Commerce Road on the Lynch Wood Business Park having previously been based in Park Road for 17 years.

About 50 clients and other guests – including Lord Brian Mawhinney – were given a guided tour of the new offices which provide more interview suites; easier parking and a selection of meeting and conference rooms.

Two weeks ago, the first candidate to be greeted to the new offices received the VIP treatment – including a bottle of champagne and some flowers.

Sophie Baker, who recently graduated from the University of Lincoln, met with staff and took a look around the refurbished two-storey building.

“The new offices are really nice, with a really modern feel,” said Sophie. “Everyone was very warm and friendly – I felt immediately at ease.”

Anne Corder said, “It was a pleasure to meet Sophie, who made an exemplary first impression. The team and I look forward to supporting her with the next steps and with what I am sure will be a highly successful start in her chosen career.”

Anne Corder Recruitment is one of the longest established independent recruitment agencies in the city handling a broad mix of permanent, contract, interim and temporary full and part-time jobs in HR, administration, secretarial, marketing, sales, new business development, account management, accounts, customer service, and IT.

The business has worked for most of the city’s leading companies across a broad range of sectors.

“This is simply the next stage of our ongoing development plans to provide a professional and focused service in a modern and contemporary setting,” added Anne.
