Special lunch will showcase business success

The Chambers’ annual Leaders Lunch returns to Downing College, Cambridge next week welcoming the Executive Director of Mansion House and Central Criminal Court as guest speaker.

The lunch will bring together businesses who are already playing a part in the international arena, looking to grow their presence, celebrating their own business success or would simply like to network with like-minded people.

Helen Bosett, event organiser, said: “We are delighted to welcome Vic Annells back to the region as our guest speaker at this special event. Vic has vast international trade experience and will advise our audience how the UK can remain globally competitive.”

Formerly of UKTI, Vic Annells is now Executive Director of Mansion House and Central Criminal Court and, working for the Lord Mayor of the City of London, is developing an overseas business programme to ensure maximum impact for the UK.

Vic commented: “I didn’t realise my constant eating would help UK exports. It’s called soft power, it revolves around dinners, breakfasts, lunches mostly in the Mansion House. Bringing people together to break bread has never been more fashionable, let me tell you why!”

The event will also celebrate the winners of our 2018 Global Business Awards.
