The Remark Group has a vacancy for an accounts admin assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Sage Accounts, strong organisational administrative & I.T skills with an ability to work in a fast paced & flexible environment to join our growing team.

The position would suit a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The successful applicant will show good time management and have a self-motivated and can-do attitude alongside the ability to be professional and courteous at all times. The candidate will need to be team orientated with a good sense of humour to balance a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

  • Four GCSE’s A-C, including English & Maths
  • Literate in Microsoft Office (2 years’ experience minimum)
  • ECDL desirable or equivalent proven experience
  • Sage Accounts Experience, minimum 2 years

Key Tasks

  • Using sage accounts software you will assist in day to day accounts processing
  • Matching supplier invoicing with manual Purchase Order System
  • Managing Supplier payment processing and reconciliations
  • Managing Supplier payment dates
  • Updating creditors lists
  • Managing customer invoicing, receipts and debt collection
  • Assist with Ariba invoicing system
  • Liaising with Suppliers on purchasing and purchase order creations
  • Manage PDQ machine, processing payments, end of day banking etc.
  • Liaise with energy suppliers for the Remark Property, negotiating annual renewal rates
  • Liaise with engineers & managers on expenses
  • Ensure good communication with customers, managing customer’s expectations & perception at all times
  • Manage escalated issues, provide reports to senior members of the Company
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion & provide reports where required
  • Ensure good working practise as a team member
  • Meet deadlines

Other duties will include:

  • To undertake any such duties as required by the Company in relation to the business needs
  • Be responsible & care for all Company property
  • Be smart in appearance, maintaining the Company rules on appearance
  • Meet Remark quality standards at all times
