YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough are celebrating winning 2 awards in the Athene Communications annual Peterborough Regional PR and Media awards held at the Knights Chamber in Peterborough Cathedral. First award of the night for YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough was awarded for Communications Campaign of the Year. We received this award in recognition for the communication work we did on Sleep Easy 2016 – successfully launching the brand new event to Peterborough, recruiting 35 sleeps and raising over £6,5000 to help support homeless young people i our accommodation services.

Second award went to Verity Swinscoe our Marketing Officer for Newcomer of the Year. Verity has been with YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough for 6 months and along with the team has worked hard to communicate YMCA to the Peterborough community and in particular her work on Sleep Easy and Sponsor a Child Christmas Dream with The Cresset, Peterborough.
