Women throughout the ages have helped to develop businesses, charities and community projects that have contributed to the city’s success. This drive and determination can still be seen today, and you can recognise these inspiring ladies by nominating them for a Women Leaders Award – a new event coming to Peterborough, supported by Peterborough City Council.
There are 14 award categories plus one for a gentleman who has contributed to the success of a future women leader, and winners from each of these categories are then considered for ‘The Outstanding Contribution’ to Peterborough category.
More importantly, the awards give women who are working in the community an opportunity to shine; there are a number of unique individuals doing incredible things within the community that no one really knows about. Now is the time to acknowledge them.
To nominate an inspiring woman, we invite you to go online and complete the nomination form. Please provide as much detail as possible including obstacles overcome and achievements attained and why the nominee deserves an award. Include testimonials and supporting evidence, where applicable.
