The East of England Arena and Events Centre is looking ahead to the new year with the welcome news that the January Motorhome & Campervan Sale has been successfully rescheduled and will be opening its gates to the public as The New & Used Motorhome & Campervan Sale, February 26-28, 2021.
First held at the East of England Arena Last year, the show proved to be very popular. The rise in UK holidays and the explosion in camping, glamping and cabin breaks over the last decade has been reflected in an 87% rise in motorhome registrations.
The New & Used Motorhome & Campervan Sale is organised by Warners Shows and promises to offer one of the UK’s largest pop-up, multi-dealer, showrooms for these vehicles. Tickets will be free, and visitors are invited to register online to secure their entry to the sale.
Jason Lunn, venue director, East of England Arena, said, “With more people than ever looking to own a motorhome or campervan, Warner’s has a winning formula with The New & Used Motorhome & Campervan Sale. The show will be making full use of our vast outdoor display area, in addition to the main arena complex, offering plenty of space to implement the proven biosecurity procedures and protocols we developed for the Outdoor Motorhome & Campervan Sale in July.”
Sally Dodds, head of events for Warners Shows, said “We chose East of England Arena to launch this sale last year because of its central location and the previous success we’d had with our regional shows and the National Motorhome & Campervan show at the venue. This year we’ve found the venue’s response to the pandemic to be superb. It enabled us, through a massive concerted effort of stakeholders, to hold the 2020 Outdoor Motorhome Camper Show in July of this year, with the approval of all relevant authorities. This pandemic preparation has, in turn, has allowed us to reschedule our much anticipated January Sale event, which is so important to the dealers and traders”
