2017 – New Year, New Charity of the Year?
2017 - New Year, New Charity of the Year?

Many people have heard of the YMCA, in fact in a recent survey shows that 90% of those asked knew of the YMCA. However, less than 2% of people have any idea of what we do and the impact we make in our local community. YMCA Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is part of a federation of 114 YMCAs across the United Kingdom and our charity aim is: To enable young people to grow to their full potential by participating in a supportive and inclusive community, through our housing, youth work, health, fitness and other programmes”.

A key part of delivering our charitable aim is to work in partnership with local businesses and we are currently looking for new charity of the year partnerships.

So if you are currently looking for a new charity to support or simply looking for a few ideas on how your staff can support local people through a key local charity we would love to hear from you.

Why choose the YMCA?

We truly believe that corporate charity partnerships should be beneficial to everyone, young people, the local community and your business. We work closely with all our partners to build strong and positive programmes that will deliver business like yours real and lasting benefit all aligned to your charitable and CSR objectives. A partnership with YMCA will deliver new skills, allows staff to get directly involved in delivery and to meet new interesting people as well as helping the YMCA to continue to support some of the most vulnerable young people and families in our community.
