Skills Vision
Peterborough’s Skills Vision sets out to help new talent prosper. We’re giving a voice to the city’s businesses, education providers and funders of education to find out what shape they want the city’s skills agenda to take.
We want to work with local companies and education providers to up-skill our workforce and create an environment in which
everyone can succeed.
We’ll support your business in achieving this commitment by sharing regular updates about local and national skills, and pointing you in the right direction for available funding, expert advice, information on skills development opportunities and support from training providers.

As the cabinet member for skills on the City Council, I can assure you of the commitment we have to providing the support for you to develop your workforce’s skills and also to the development of the City’s workforce of the future. I am sure we should congratulate Opportunity Peterborough on this initiative.” Cllr John F W Holdich OBE.

“Skills are vital for the development of our businesses and the development of Peterborough as a city. We endeavour to embrace skills for all our staff and to help the transition of young people from a school to work environment” Rob Facer, Chairman of Barnack UK and the Evening Telegraph’s Business Person of the Year 2010.
