The Staff at Hales Group, who’s head office is based in Peterborough, have raised over £1,000 for charities in the past twelve months

Regional recruitment firm Hales Group have recently confirmed the total sum of their staff’s charitable endeavours in the past twelve months; totalling over £1,000.

Hales Group are committed to working with charities to give something back, and have recently raised money for Mind, Dog’s Trust, EACH, Cancer Research and East Anglia Children’s Hospital, in addition to partnering with Macmillan Cancer Support.

Most recently, staff took part in the #WalkThisMay challenge, which involves committing to walking over 100km (just over 62 miles) over the course of the month of May.

A Hales spokesperson had this to say; “We celebrated National Walking Month in May by taking the challenge to walk 100km over the course of the month and raise vital funds to support our selected charities this year – East Anglia’s Children Hospice and Cancer Research UK.”

“We walked over 537 kilometres altogether and raised a total of £247.50 for our charities. We also felt this was a great opportunity to raise more awareness around health and wellbeing, positivity and mental health and walking can be a big part of that.”

Hales Group, and their staff across the country are committed to supporting charitable endeavours, and have done consistently over the years, in order to focus on fundraising efforts that can go towards making a difference to communities and the individuals within them.
