Origin8 teams up with Allia Future Business Centre Peterborough as catering partner

Focus on locally-sourced, freshly made food for the local business community

Allia Future Business Centre Peterborough is pleased to welcome Origin8 as its new catering partner, to run the café on the top floor of the centre, based on London Road, at the Peterborough United football stadium.

Allia chose Origin8 as their new catering partner due to their outstanding reputation in the local area for the provision of fresh and tasty homemade food and drink, and because of shared values around recycling and the environment. Allia’s centre in Peterborough is accredited by Investors in the Environment for its commitment to environmental sustainability, and Origin8 actively reuse and recycle as much as they can, using biodegradable and sustainably sourced materials.

Menus will be changed seasonally, and fresh produce is locally sourced, supporting suppliers in the region. In addition to running the café, Origin8 will cater for the thriving conference and meeting room facilities at the centre, with everything from lunches for small meetings, to large events for up to 220 people.

Paul Smith, Centre Manager at Allia Future Business Centre Peterborough, said We’re delighted to partner with Origin8 to provide catering for our centre in Peterborough. The café serves as an important space for the many tenants at the bustling and busy centre to grab a coffee, some lunch and have a meeting or take a break from their offices. We also welcome people from the wider business community in Peterborough to use the café for networking or working business lunches.”

Lyndsey Hall, MD at Origin8, said Allia is the perfect partner for us. We share many of the same values, especially regarding sustainability and the environment, and being a small business ourselves, we’re committed to supporting local farmers, bakers, cake makers and other local companies. We’re really looking forward to providing Future Business Centre tenants and the wider business community with our locally sourced, homemade products.”

Allia opened its Future Business Centre in Peterborough in 2015 and it has supported over 150 different tenant companies in this time. It brings together businesses working in the emerging clusters of future tech, Smart Cities, and the circular economy with other growing companies supplying the local business community. The centre boasts a range of impressive conference and meeting rooms and is a regular location for local business networks and events.
