Moore Thompson Chartered Accountants trainees celebrate exam success

Two trainees at East of England accountancy practice, Moore Thompson, have been congratulated having passed important professional qualifications.

Asif Hamid and Jordon Wingert have both recently passed exams as part of their ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) studies at the firm’s offices in Spalding.

Obtaining the ACCA qualification requires entrants to sit 13 taxing exams and complete at least three year’s work experience in practice, completing a wide range of tasks.

Jordon has passed one exam and now has five more remaining for her to complete the ACCA accreditation, which is one of the world’s leading accountancy accolades.

Meanwhile, Asif has completed his final exam of the ACCA and now just needs to finish his period of practical experience in order to become fully qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.

Moore Thompson’s Training Partner, Craig Reid said: “Congratulations to Jordon and Asif on their latest exam successes. Both have worked extremely hard towards these qualifications, so it is nice to see that they are both progressing well in their career.

“By undergoing these exams, they ensure that they can deliver the high levels of service that our clients expect of our firm. I look forward to seeing how they develop as accountants in the years to come.”

Every year Moore Thompson hires trainees out of schools, universities and alternative careers to undergo professional training and in its 80-year history has helped dozens of people to qualify.
