Moore Thompson Chartered Accountants offers helping hand during National Payroll Week

East of England accountants, Moore Thompson, has said that National Payroll Week is the perfect opportunity for employers to review and enhance or potentially outsource their payroll systems.

Due to take place between 2-6 September, the week is designed to raise the profile and awareness of payroll amongst businesses in the UK.

Moore Thompson are using the week as an opportunity to share its experience and expertise on payroll and make a greater number of businesses aware of the benefits of outsourcing their payroll to specialists.

The awareness week was created by the CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals), which hopes that this will be the campaign’s biggest year yet.

Kieran Smith, HR and Payroll Manager at Moore Thompson, said: “Payroll is an important function of running a business with employees, but it can be very onerous for managers and owners – taking away time that might better be spent on helping their company to grow.

“We wanted to join the thousands of other payroll professionals across the UK to raise awareness of the importance of payroll and offer our support to businesses that are struggling with it.”
