Staff and partners at the Market Deeping offices of accountancy firm, Moore Thompson, have been delighted to learn that they have been selected as finalists at this year’s Deeping Business Awards.

Run by the Deeping Business Club, the annual awards recognise the town’s best businesses and individuals, which is why Moore Thompson was excited to learn it had been shortlisted in the Best Service Company category, while Audit and Accounts Manager, Jodie North, has been selected by the judges for the Young Business Person of the Year award.

Moore Thompson has been assisting businesses and individuals across the East of England for more than 80 years, providing a wide range of accountancy, tax and business advice to a diverse group of clients.

Market Deeping is one of four offices operated by the firm, which also has a presence in Spalding, Wisbech and Peterborough, and its local Partner Matt Upex is delighted with its latest success.

He said: “None of this would be possible without the fantastic support provided by our team, who provide exceptional services to our clients across the East of England.

“We love having a presence in the town and feel very fortunate to work with some of the region’s top businesses.”

Speaking about her individual shortlisting at the award, Jodie North added: “I am really honoured to make this year’s shortlist. I love working at Moore Thompson and it has been so supportive of my career. I am really looking forward to finding out whether we have won later on this year.”

Jodie, Matt and the rest of the team will find out if they have won at an awards ceremony due to be held at Deepings School in Park Road on Saturday 28 September 2019.
