Hegarty Solicitors, based in Peterborough, Stamford and Oakham are pleased to announce the appointment of three new team members within the commercial property department.
Will Stokes, joined the firm in the Autumn as an Associate Solicitor and brings with him a wealth of experience across a wide range of commercial property matters, including undertaking freehold sales/purchases and leases of office, industrial and retail space, as well as acting for landowners and developers looking to sell or acquire land for residential or commercial development. As a commercial property specialist, Will was recognised as a Rising Star in the 2020 edition of the Legal 500.
Will commented, “I am really excited to be joining the growing commercial property team at Hegarty Solicitors and looking forward to help cement existing client relationships and to expand the practice within the Peterborough market, with a particular focus on more complex landlord and tenant matters and development transactions.”
In addition, Hegarty Solicitors also welcome a new addition to the team; Emily Ellerby-Calladine who joins the team as a Paralegal.
Emily is currently completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP University in Cambridge and joins the Commercial Property team following time spent in the Corporate and Employment Law departments at Hegarty Solicitors.
The recent expansion follows the addition of a new Partner to the department in 2019. Sean Rowcliffe joined the department as Partner in 2019, as part of ongoing growth plans for the team. With over 20 years’ legal experience, Sean has a practical and flexible approach and specialises in a range of commercial property matters.
