We will be running 30 minute business seminars throughout the day which you can sign up to attend, all on various subject matters.

Looking at pension auto enrolment (in the UK) – when a company’s legal duties are effective from; what the requirements are in respect of pension contributions and pensionable pay structures; and what are the reporting requirements with the Pensions Regulator; What are the most common employee benefit offerings for start-ups – assessing what the types of benefits that can be offered; looking at what start-ups are typically offering; what are the typical costs associated with different benefits, the importance of reviewing your benefits and making sure you are getting the best value from your benefit spend.

13:30 - Julie Randall from Enlivened - Domestic abuse and the workplace.

Did you know the direct cost of domestic abuse to businesses and organisations is approx. £14 billion a year?

£316M is lost in economic output by UK businesses because of work absences related to domestic abuse.

If you thought domestic abuse was something which didn’t or shouldn’t affect business, then these statistics will no doubt have challenged your belief and this presentation is for you.

During the presentation we’ll look at;

• The cost and impact of domestic abuse to businesses.

• Why businesses can help to break the cycle of abuse.

• What you can do to provide a safe, supportive place for all staff.
