East of England Arena recruits new event manager

The East of England Arena and Events Centre has announced the appointment of Pamela Newbould, formerly operations manager at Event Shaper just outside of London, as its new event manager where she will be the operational lead for Just Dogs Live and the Championship Dog Show, adding daily updates and content to the websites,  managing social media channels and supporting marketing activities for all events.

Newbould worked as Event Shaper’s general operations manager for Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI), and as its operations manager for a string of major international events over the last four years. She joins East of England Arena and Events Centre following a move to the region, and away from the capital.

Ryan Moroney, head of operations, East of England Arena, welcomed Newbould to the role, saying, “I’m delighted to welcome Pamela to the team. Her extensive experience and proven track record in managing operations for major international shows will be in high demand as our venue continues to attract ever larger, more complex, events.”

Moroney concluded, “I’m confident that the tremendous skills and insight she brings from her organiser and operations background will be invaluable assets in our drive for greater sustainability, customer satisfaction and efficiency.”

Newbould was delighted to be chosen for the role, saying “The East of England Arena is a great venue that draws an amazing mix of events, each presenting a set of unique challenges. I am really looking forward to working with Ryan to deliver these events with the customary efficiency and forethought our customers have come to expect.”
