Public consultation
A key feature of our development planning is consultation with businesses, community
groups, local residents and others to bring forward plans which truly meet the city’s
needs and aspirations.
Opportunity Peterborough and our partners will therefore be consulting widely on
our plans and proposals, to give you the chance to have your say.
Details of our current public consultations are set out below.
City Centre Area Action Plan (CCAAP) and the South Bank Masterplan (consultation now closed):
Opportunity Peterborough and Peterborough City Council have finished consulting
on the options for two of the city’s key regeneration projects – the City Centre
Area Action Plan and the South Bank Masterplan - to see how we can bring forward
growth ‘in the right way.’
Face to face consultations ran from 4 – 20 March and feedback was collated.
The consultations were used to inform the future of these two important areas
– bringing forward plans to establish Peterborough as a great place to live, work
and visit, by day and by night.
You can view the consultation materials for both areas by

Integrated growth study (consultation now closed):
The integrated growth study shows how Peterborough will meet its ambitious targets
for growth while still developing in a sustainable manner.
The results are being used by Peterborough City Council to draw up its core strategy
for future development. The strategy will define (among other things) which areas
of the city and surrounding rural areas are to receive new housing, commercial and
other development.

study can be downloaded
