Opportunity Peterborough is supported by over 250 Business Partners – organisations from Peterborough and surrounding areas which share our vision for the future.

Predominantly from the private sector, these Business Partners range from small and medium sized enterprises to some of the largest employers in Peterborough. They are all committed to the growth and economic development of the area.

Their support helps us to lead the partnership initiative which will manage the billion pound transformation of Peterborough.

As well as providing financial and 'in kind' support, the Business Partners encourage inward investment to Peterborough by promoting the area to their business contacts in the UK and overseas.

Become a Business Partner

Our Business Partners assist us in a number of ways – from giving financial backing to providing a forum for discussion of ideas.

Companies and other organisations become Business Partners for a multitude of different reasons – but one common factor is that all our Business Partners wish to support the economic growth of the city.

Becoming a Business Partner offers a number of advantages:

• Exclusive advanced access to news from Opportunity Peterborough.
  
• Exclusive invitations to (usually free) meetings to hear news about future physical and economic development plans – often before the news is released to the wider business community.
  
• Opportunities to participate in consultation on the city’s development plans.
  
• Opportunities to network with directors and senior managers from other Business Partners.
  
• Inclusion on the list of Business Partners offered to companies and other organisations moving into the city with assistance from Opportunity Peterborough – allowing your business to be drawn to their attention long before their intention to move to Peterborough becomes public knowledge.

The cost of joining the Business Partner Programme is tailored to match members’ turnover but we are always happy to discuss ‘payment in kind’. Many of our Business Partners offer free or discounted services rather than cash to cover the cost of their partnership.
